very interesting.. is personal identificatiion numbers and all that jazz really a good way to combat terrorism? At the cost of personal liberty.. i for one am not comfortable with that.. it looks like the same thing might be happening in the uk after the subway bombings. i am sure the respective governments have ulterior motives for implementing this.
Thats why the patriot act in the US was passed over night when no one would know about it, then revived in much the same manner just recently so that hopefully americans wouldnt know. The US goverment likes to sneak these things through as best they can without having the US or the world really notice (IE. See Roberts appointment to the Supreme Court)
