Sonic the Hedgehog, a part of the once-mighty Sega Gaming Corp.

Remember Sonic and Sega and SegaTV? Yes, that's right, take your mind back to the 1980s and early 1990s, and you'll remember the neat programme with the spikey-haired Hedgehog in a video game style format. Sega is still around, virtually a shadow of its former self. The web-site @ is interesting and interactive. It allows users to join a blog and participate in through posting general messages and gaming tips. A comprehensive list of all the games manufactured by the company and their respective platforms is listed which includes Nintendo, XBOX, PS2 and Game Cube, not to mention a list of games available for the home PC. With a wide range of platforms and Japanese-style characters, Sega Games still look interesting, entertaining and cutting-edge. Also check out their Corporate History - very interesting. Nowadays however, Sega is owned by Nokia and Nokia uses Sega's technology for gaming on their mobile phone range. is also owned by Nokia as a separate offshoot of Sega's online gaming.

ah, back in the day when it was sega vs nintendo not microsoft vs sony vs nintendo..

I loved sonic when i was kid and was very happy when i saw that they have done a ps2 release for all the old sonic games, think its Sonic Mega Collection or something.

So sega are completly out of the console business now? do they do games for gamecube/xbox/ps2? or is it just the nokia phones?

Sega is pretty weak as far as Game Development goes. Lost it some way back. Name one Good game they made for PS2? One game that went platinum on PS2 or 1?
