Phone stealing

Finnish scientists have invented a device that makes it harder to steal mobile phones and laptops by enabling them to detect changes thier owners walking style and then freezes to prevent unauthorised use. The VTT Technical research of Finland said that the 'device is equipped with senosrs that measure certain characteristics of the user's gait. When a device is used for the first time these measurments are saved in its memory'. The device has being patended but yet to be sold. I think that although the device will help prevent stolen gadgets it will make it much harder for people who may need to use the gadget. In such everyday situations as someone making a call off some elses phone. This makes the mobile media device even more apart of our identities as it becomes more and more personalised. It also shows the increasing intimacy between human behaviour and machines.
