I ended up going on saturday, was pretty good. Went to a 1hour discussion panel with some guys from Weta Workshop where they talked about their work on King Kong. Apparently they have borrowed some technology created for the Final Fantasy movie and have also created a new program called mudbox that lets you 3d animate the muscles underneath the skin to make sure the skin behaves anatomically correctly :p

Also went to a panel with John Rhys Davies which was good and got to see a behind closed doors demo of the Xbox 360 which looks pretty damn cool, especially all the wireless capabilities and the online marketplace thing they are going to have and the ability to personalise your xbox plus your online game persona. They showed 2 games from memory, call of duty 2 and some other one, gears of war it might have been, the graphics on that one were just :O

Be interesting to see how PS3 and Revolution compare

Also saw the King Kong game on PS2 which looks pretty damn good, pushing the ps2 hardware to the max me thinks. And they were showing Sinsgstar 80's, some new music buzz quiz game which looks pretty cool and Eye Toy Kenetic.

$15 well spent, also got Akira special edition for $20, not that anyone cares :p
